PA Man Shot Dead By Police During Domestic Incident: DA

A man was shot and killed by Abington Township police officers during a domestic disturbance call, Montgomery County District Attorney Kevin Steele announced on Thursday, March 6.

Officers responded to a 911 call for a domestic dispute in the 2300 block of Rosemore Avenue in the Glenside section of Abington Township at approximately 11:15 a.m., Steele said.

Upon entering an apartment, officers discharged their firearms, striking an adult male, according to the DA. The man was transported to Abington Jefferson Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.

Per standard protocol, Montgomery County Detectives are investigating the shooting. The names of the man and the officers involved have not been released.
